Maternal & Child Health

The Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Service is a free service, provided by the Mornington Peninsula Shire, for families with children from birth to school age. MCH nurses work in partnership to provide support for your family with child health, wellbeing and developmental checks and parenting support and advice.

Please bring the following items to the Centre:

Nappy change bag
Something for the baby to lie on
Your child’s health record book

Immunisations

Mornington Peninsula Shire Immunisation team provides free immunisations to protect the health and wellbeing of your child, as outlined in the National Immunisation Program Schedule for:

Infants & Children 0 – 10 years of age

Years 7 – 10 students (Secondary School Immunisation Program)

Adults – Whooping Cough Booster for expectant parents
